The police chief of Praxedis G Guerrero, Marisol Valles Garcia, was believed to have received death threats. Praxedis is in the battleground area for the drug cartel and is located near the the western-most tip of Texas. The mayor of the city tried contacting the chief but the attempts were unsuccessful.
