Libya protests: Oil prices rise as unrest continues

Libya is the 12th largest exporter of oil and as tensions rise, so does the price of oil. In London Brent crude rose by more than $2 a barrel to $108.5, before falling back to $105.78 a barrel. In New York, light sweet crude oil rose by $7.37 to $93.57 a barrel. Lastly, the tensions in Libya affect the Asian and European stock markets.
